Yeoman is a town in Jefferson Township, Carroll County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2020 census, Yeoman had a population of 116. It is part of the Lafayette, Indiana Metropolitan Statistical Area.

History

Yeoman was platted in 1880. It was named for Col. Yeoman, a railroad employee.

As of the census of 2010, there were 139 people, 51 households, and 38 families living in the town. The population density was . There were 54 housing units at an average density of . The racial makeup of the town was 100.0% White.

There were 51 households, of which 49.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 43.1% were married couples living together, 11.8% had a female householder with no husband present, 19.6% had a male householder with no wife present, and 25.5% were non-families. 21.6% of all households were made up of individuals, and 7.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.73 and the average family size was 2.92.
