Wise Township is a civil township of Isabella County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,355 at the 2020 census. The southern half of Wise Township was set aside as Denver Township in 1876.
Geography
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the township has a total area of , of which is land and (0.25%) is water.
The Pere Marquette Rail-Trail runs through the township. The entire township is within the boundaries of the Isabella Indian Reservation.
Major highways
- runs east–west along the northern portion of the city.
- is a business loop that enters very briefly in the northwest corner of the township and connects to US 10.
