West Livingston is a census-designated place (CDP) in western Polk County, Texas, United States, located along the eastern shore of Lake Livingston west of central Livingston. The population was 8,156 at the 2020 census.
History

As of the census
The CDP also has the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Allan B. Polunsky Unit, the location of the State of Texas death row for men since 1999.
Education
West Livingston is served by the Livingston Independent School District.
The Texas Legislature designated Polk County as being in the boundary of Angelina College's district.
