Waverly Township, Cheboygan County, Michigan

Waverly Township is a civil township of Cheboygan County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 373 at the 2020 census.

Geography

Waverly Township is located in eastern Cheboygan County and is bordered by Presque Isle County to the east. The northeast corner of the township is in Black Lake. The Upper Black River flows northward through the center of the township, entering Black Lake to the north in Grant Township. According to the United States Census Bureau, Waverly Township has a total area of , of which is land and , or 9.21%, is water.
