As of the 2020 census, Taft Heights had a population of 1,999 and a population density of . 100.0% of residents lived in urban areas, while 0.0% lived in rural areas.
The racial makeup was 61.9% White, 0.7% African American, 1.4% Native American, 0.5% Asian, 0.7% Pacific Islander, 20.0% from other races, and 14.9% from two or more races.
The whole population lived in households.
