Sherman Township is a civil township of Mason County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,127 at the 2020 census. It was named for William Tecumseh Sherman, a Union Army general.
Geography
Sherman Township is in central Mason County. The village of Fountain is in the northeast part of the township. According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of , of which are land and , or 0.15%, are water.
