San Ygnacio is a census-designated place (CDP) in Zapata County, Texas, United States. As of the 2020 census, the CDP population was 504.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of , of which is land and is water.

Wildlife

The community is also one of the few locations within the United States to view the Morelet’s seedeater, a small sparrow-like bird that inhabits second growth stands of Phragmites along the Rio Grande.
