Samak is a census-designated place (CDP) in southwestern Summit County, Utah, United States. The population was 93 at the 2020 census. The name is simply the reversal of the name of the nearby city of Kamas.

Climate
The Beaver Divide SNOTEL weather station is located along the lower section of Bald Mountain Pass, roughly 5 miles (8 km) east of Samak.
