The province of Biella (; Piedmontese: provincia ëd Biela) is a province in the region of Piedmont in northern Italy. It was created in 1992 and its capital is the city of Biella. It has a population of 168,223 in an area of across its 74 municipalities.

As of 2025, of the known countries of birth of 165,865 residents, the most numerous are: Italy (150,182 – 90.5%), Morocco (3,508 – 2.1%), Romania (2,162 – 1.3%).

Culture

Biella is home to the Sacred Mountain of Oropa, which became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2003.
