Pecan Hill is a city in Ellis County, Texas, United States. The population was 735 at the 2020 census, up from 626 at the 2010 census.
Geography
Pecan Hill is located in northern Ellis County and is bordered to the north by the city of Red Oak. Waxahachie, the county seat, is to the southwest, and downtown Dallas is to the north.

As of the 2020 census, Pecan Hill had a population of 735. The median age was 44.8 years. 22.4% of residents were under the age of 18 and 20.7% of residents were 65 years of age or older.
For every 100 females there were 98.1 males, and for every 100 females age 18 and over there were 96.6 males age 18 and over.
There were 261 households in Pecan Hill, of which 40.2% had children under the age of 18 living in them. Of all households, 62.5% were married-couple households, 10.0% were households with a male householder and no spouse or partner present, and 19.5% were households with a female householder and no spouse or partner present.
