Oakvale is a town in Mercer County, West Virginia, United States, along the East River. The population was 137 at the 2020 census. The town incorporated in 1907.
Geography
The town is situated in a narrow valley along the East River, a few miles west of the state line between Virginia and West Virginia. West Virginia Route 112 (Ingleside Road) traverses Oakvale, connecting the town with Bluefield to the southwest. U.S. Route 460 passes just north of the town.

At the 2010 census there were 121 people, 49 households, and 31 families living in the town. The population density was . There were 55 housing units at an average density of . The racial makeup of the town was 100.0% White.
