Muskegon Township, Michigan

Muskegon Charter Township is a charter township of Muskegon County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 17,596 at the 2020 census. However, many other townships were created earlier than Muskegon Township.

Geography

The township is in central Muskegon County and is bordered to the southwest by the city of Muskegon and to the west by the city of North Muskegon. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the township has a total area of , of which are land and , or 1.54%, are water.
