Lyra Township is a township in Blue Earth County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 378 as of the 2000 census.

Lyra Township was organized in 1866.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 35.4 square miles (91.7 km), of which 35.4 square miles (91.7 km) is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km) (0.06%) is water.

The city of Good Thunder is entirely within the township geographically but is a separate entity.
