Lyons Township is a township in Wadena County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 180 at the 2000 census.

History

Lyons Township was named for Harrison Lyons, a county official.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 35.6&nbsp;square miles (92.3&nbsp;km<sup>2</sup>); 34.9&nbsp;square miles (90.4&nbsp;km<sup>2</sup>) of it is land and 0.7&nbsp;square miles (1.9&nbsp;km<sup>2</sup>) of it (2.08%) is water.
