Leavitt Township is a civil township of Oceana County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 911 at the 2020 census. It is a primarily agricultural area, with Walkerville being the only village within the township.

Communities

  • Bird is an unincorporated community in Leavitt Township. It was settled by European Americans in 1866 and had a US post office from 1872 until 1890.
