Jefferson Township is a civil township of Hillsdale County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 3,063 at the 2020 census.

History

The township was created by the state legislature in 1837, and it was originally called Florida Township. It was renamed to Jefferson Township in 1849. The protected area is also known locally as Pittsford State Game Area.
