Herscher is a village in Kankakee County, Illinois, United States. The population was 1,521 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Kankakee–Bradley metropolitan area.
Geography
Herscher is located in southwestern Kankakee County. Illinois Route 115 forms the northern edge of the village; the highway leads east to Kankakee, the county seat.
