Haines is a city in Baker County, Oregon, United States. The population was 373 at the 2020 census.

History

Haines was platted in 1885 or 1886 along the Oregon Railway and Navigation Company rail line; it was a stage stop before then.

2020 census

As of the 2020 census, Haines had a population of 373. The median age was 46.1 years. 22.8% of residents were under the age of 18 and 20.9% of residents were 65 years of age or older. For every 100 females there were 93.3 males, and for every 100 females age 18 and over there were 87.0 males age 18 and over.

0% of residents lived in urban areas, while 100.0% lived in rural areas.
