Freeport is a village in Freeport Township, Harrison County, Ohio, United States. The population was 321 at the 2020 census.
History
Freeport was laid out in 1810. A post office has been in operation at Freeport since 1814.

As of the census of 2010, there were 369 people, 161 households, and 87 families living in the village. The population density was . There were 181 housing units at an average density of . The racial makeup of the village was 97.6% White and 2.4% from two or more races.
There were 161 households, of which 28.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 41.6% were married couples living together, 5.6% had a female householder with no husband present, 6.8% had a male householder with no wife present, and 46.0% were non-families. 39.1% of all households were made up of individuals, and 15.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
