Dillsboro is a town in Clay Township, Dearborn County, Indiana, United States. As of 2020, the population is 1,360.
History
Dillsboro was laid out in 1830. It was named for James Dill, a general in the War of 1812 and local resident.
The Dillsboro post office, established in 1837, was spelled Dillsborough until 1893.

As of the 2020 census, Dillsboro had a population of 1,360. The median age was 42.5 years. 22.4% of residents were under the age of 18 and 20.9% of residents were 65 years of age or older. For every 100 females there were 86.3 males, and for every 100 females age 18 and over there were 80.0 males age 18 and over.
