Cottonwood Township is a township in Brown County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 938 as of the 2000 census.

History

Cottonwood Township was organized in 1858. The township took its name from the Cottonwood River.

The south quarter of the city of New Ulm is within the township geographically but is a separate entity.
