Cohasset ( ) is a city in Itasca County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 2,689 at the 2020 census.

History
A post office called Cohasset has been in operation since 1892. The city was named after Cohasset, Massachusetts.
Geography

Cohasset is adjacent to the city of Grand Rapids.

As of the 2020 census, Cohasset had a population of 2,689. The median age was 47.4 years. 22.6% of residents were under the age of 18 and 25.1% of residents were 65 years of age or older. For every 100 females there were 103.4 males, and for every 100 females age 18 and over there were 100.2 males age 18 and over.
16.1% of residents lived in urban areas, while 83.9% lived in rural areas.
There were 1,090 households in Cohasset, of which 27.9% had children under the age of 18 living in them. Of all households, 62.8% were married-couple households, 15.0% were households with a male householder and no spouse or partner present, and 15.8% were households with a female householder and no spouse or partner present. About 21.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 10.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. of 2010, there were 2,698 people, 1,067 households, and 795 families living in the city.
