Beaver Township is a civil township of Newaygo County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2020 census, the township population was 463.

Communities

  • Cole Creek: There was a post office with this name in the township from 1904 until 1907.
  • Volney: Post office opened in 1880, and closed in 1909. Despite being the current location of Beaver Township Hall, Volney is considered to be a ghost town. The town once included a church, cemetery, schoolhouse, and creamery. Only the church, cemetery, and township hall remain.
