Andover is a town in northwestern Day County, South Dakota, United States. The population was 66 at the 2020 census.

History

A post office called Andover was established in 1881. The town most likely takes its name from Andover, Massachusetts.

As of the census of 2020, there were 66 people, 35 households and 11 families residing in the town. The racial makeup of the town was 86.4% White and Hispanic or Latino of any race were 6% of the population.

As of the census of 2010, there were 91 people, 42 households, and 24 families residing in the town. The population density was . There were 60 housing units at an average density of .
