Alamosa East is an unincorporated community and a census-designated place (CDP) located in and governed by Alamosa County, Colorado, United States. The population of the Alamosa East CDP was 1,453 at the 2020 United States census.

There were 576 households in Alamosa East, of which 29.2% had children under the age of 18 living in them. Of all households, 46.2% were married-couple households, 21.0% were households with a male householder and no spouse or partner present, and 26.4% were households with a female householder and no spouse or partner present.
