History

Prior to March 31, 2005, Aida District included

  • Aida
  • Higashiawakura
  • Mimasaka
  • Nishiawakura
  • Ōhara
  • Sakutō

On that date, all but Nishiawakura merged to form the new city of Mimasaka.
